GREE Opens Its First Showroom in Bangkok, Strengthening Its Presence in Thailand’s Air Conditioner Market
Bangkok, March 8, 2026 – GREE, a globally leading manufacturer of air conditioning systems, continues to expand its presence in Thailand with the official opening of the GREE Thailand Cooling Experience Center, the company’s first showroom and cooling technology experience center in Bangkok. The facility has been established through its authorized distributor, TTSK Co., Ltd., to further strengthen engagement with customers and business partners in Thailand’s growing air conditioning market across Southeast Asia.
Located at 572 Rama II Road, Samae Dam Subdistrict, Bang Khun Thian District, Bangkok, the new center has been designed to serve as more than a conventional product showroom. It functions as a comprehensive platform for learning and experiencing advanced cooling technologies. The facility enables customers, contractors, engineers, and industry partners to explore GREE’s latest air conditioning technologies while exchanging knowledge and insights on cooling solutions suited to Thailand’s tropical climate conditions.
The establishment of the center reflects the strategic importance of Thailand within GREE’s expansion in Southeast Asia. Thailand remains one of the region’s most dynamic air conditioning markets, driven by continued urban development, expansion in the real estate sector, growth in hospitality and commercial buildings, as well as the country’s year-round hot climate. These factors have made air conditioning an essential component of everyday life.
At the same time, consumer expectations are evolving, with increasing emphasis placed on energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and product durability. Industry data indicates that nearly 47 percent of consumers consider air filtration systems as a key factor when selecting an air conditioner, reflecting growing awareness of health and indoor air quality, particularly in urban environments.
Mr. Jared Yang, President Director of GREE ELECTRIC APPLIANCES (THAILAND) CO., LTD., stated that Thailand plays a significant role in GREE’s expansion strategy across Southeast Asia. The opening of this experience center marks another important milestone in bringing the company’s global cooling technologies closer to the local market.
“We hope that this center will serve as a platform where customers and industry partners can experience GREE’s air conditioning technologies firsthand, while gaining deeper insights into solutions specifically designed to meet the needs of Thailand’s tropical climate,” said Mr. Yang.
GREE was ranked the world’s No.1 residential air conditioner brand in 2024, with operations in more than 190 countries and regions worldwide. The company currently operates 77 manufacturing bases both in China and overseas and holds over 130,000 technology patents.
The center showcases a comprehensive range of cooling solutions, covering residential air conditioners as well as systems designed for commercial and industrial applications. It also features products related to indoor air quality improvement. The facility includes dedicated areas for product demonstrations, training rooms for technicians, and simulation spaces that demonstrate various cooling system applications.
Among the technologies highlighted is the GREE Airy Series, a premium intelligent air conditioning system specifically designed for tropical climates. The series is equipped with an advanced inverter control system that automatically adjusts its operation according to usage patterns and environmental conditions, thereby improving energy efficiency while maintaining a stable and comfortable indoor environment.
In addition, the system incorporates long-distance airflow technology and dehumidification functions, enabling it to adapt effectively to Thailand’s high-temperature and high-humidity climate. A multi-layer air filtration system further enhances indoor air quality.
In terms of service, GREE places strong emphasis on professional installation and long-term system maintenance through its partnership with TTSK Co., Ltd. The company provides comprehensive services ranging from system design and installation by professional teams to after-sales support. TTSK has previously implemented cooling system projects for numerous large-scale developments in Thailand, including hotels, shopping centers, retail establishments, and industrial facilities.
Mr. Wu Fan, Chief Executive Officer of TTSK Co., Ltd., stated that the opening of the GREE Thailand Cooling Experience Center represents an important step in connecting GREE’s global technologies with the Thai market.
“This center will help customers and industry partners gain a deeper understanding of GREE’s technological standards and will serve as an important platform supporting the continued development of the cooling industry and the real estate sector in Thailand,” Mr. Wu said.
Looking ahead, GREE plans to continue expanding its investment in Thailand by focusing on the development of energy-efficient, durable air conditioning technologies designed for tropical climates, while strengthening long-term cooperation with partners and customers in the Thai market.
